Scars and wounds are priceless,

They come at great expense.

Not to be hidden, but exposed,

for all to see without relent

They are a sign of Courage,

carrying mysteries of the unknown,

of pain and suffering,

fighting for those they have not known.

Or from unexpected misfortune,

an act out of one’s control,

throwing them into silence for recovery,

It is exhausting and takes a great toll.

Regardless of scars,

one is still human and deserves a little respect,

so please don’t undermine one’s abilities,

as their targets in vulnerability,

are no longer select.
